Join us for a momentous virtual celebration!
Together, let's celebrate the achievements of our first-ever, historic Putting Education to Work campaign that is deepening the impact of our movement by infusing critical programmatic and financial resources into our schools. You are invited to help us continue our progress toward developing a talented, diverse workforce and achieving a college graduation rate equal to that of economically advantaged youth, as we seek to expand to 50 Catholic, Cristo Rey schools serving 20,000 students annually.
This national event will give you an exclusive, inside perspective from our students, alumni, leaders, and partners about the impact of a Cristo Rey education. To help make our campaign's vision a reality, our champion investors will also share why they give, and how all levels of philanthropic support help advance our mission.
"Our country needs Cristo Rey schools now, and we need you. Stand with us for access to opportunity and a more inclusive, equitable society. We have been blessed by and are profoundly grateful for visionary philanthropists who have generously invested in our $31.5 million campaign goal. These lead gifts enable us to proceed with confidence in advancing our strategic priorities but we remain in need of new partners to bring our vision to reality. With your generosity and participation in our virtual event, together, we can break down systemic barriers and build the capacity of tomorrow’s leaders!"
For 25 years, the Cristo Rey education model has been eliminating socioeconomic and cultural barriers that can inhibit the future success of young people from families of limited economic means. To safeguard and expand our mission for the next 25 years, Putting Education to Work is implementing and scaling high-impact programming that advances school excellence and innovation, while responding to the changing needs of our schools. Help us:
1. Ensure alumni graduate from high school college-ready and career-prepared
2. Lead the education industry in developing college graduates from economically disadvantaged families
3. Continue to grow the largest national network of high schools serving exclusively youth with limited financial resources
4. Sustain the momentum of the Cristo Rey movement in bolstering the Catholic traditions of educational excellence and advancement of the economically disadvantaged through the John P. Foley, SJ Legacy Fund
